We were out near Albany this weekend trying for holdovers and talking to varrious Hudson River anglers.
It will not be long now, the first fish have probably already made their way into the river. We caught some of the stunted channel cats that seem to be in endless supply, and some Pike are also being taken. So if you need to get off the ice and hit the open water, go to the Hudson. Test out all of your striped bass gear, and you might catch a nice catfish on your cut-bait and mabe a pike or musky on your live!
Post on the forum when you start to get into fish. We will as well!
