Striper Surf Club
The Striper Surf Club, Inc., established in June of 1951, is one of the oldest active organized surf fishing clubs in New York State. The Striper Surf Club was formed when several members of the Coney Island Rod & Gun Club of Brooklyn, NY broke away to be specialized in surf fishing for Striped Bass. On December 20, 1965 the Striper Surf Club incorporated as a domestic not-for-profit organization. It is now known as Striper Surf Club, Inc.

DeWitt Fish & Game Club
DeWitt Fish & Game Club is a membership organization, which has been in existence since the 1930's and has been located at 6560 Woodchuck Hill Road, Jamesville, NY since 1942. Since that time, DeWitt has established itself as the premier clay target-shooting club in Central New York. The beautiful expansive ground, nestled within its tree lined border, contains seven Trap fields, four Skeet fields (1 is Wobble, 1 is International), a 5-Stand Sporting Clays field, a Rifle/Pistol Range, and an Archery Range. During its history, DeWitt Fish & Game Club has been host to State Skeet and Trap Championships, the National Sports Festival, Police Olympics, the Empire State Games, International Skeet and Trap, Biathlon Events, and the Syracuse Winter Festival. Local Olympic hopefuls have utilized DeWitt as their primary practice fields, as well.

The Whitney Point Sportsmen’s Association
The Club started in July of 1957, when some guys where sitting around and talking about what they needed and here we are today with almost 300 acres of land to hunt on. St. Lawrence River Walleye Association
The St. Lawrence River Walleye Association formed in 2006 as an incorporated non-profit organization for the purpose of organizing, promoting and financing the growth of Walleye fishing along the St. Lawrence River. (We now have 501C-3 status)
Activities are supported through membership fees, fundraising events, and grant funding. Net income is used to benefit the organization in support of its objectives. Objectives are to initiate and maintain a stocking program, awareness of invasive species, promote tourism, and to protect our fisheries and related natural resources.

The original Ilion Fish & Game Club was founded in 1907. The club grounds were actually located in downtown Ilion until 1926/27 when they bought the Avery farm located on Barringer Road (which was across from the 1808 Remington Stone House) using the old farm house as the clubhouse.
